XCELER8 Xcaliber Paddle

I bought one of these paddles from someone who had one but had never used it. I was skeptical about it at first, but thought it couldn't hurt to give it a try. I started to get comfortable with it after a couple games, and then - boy, was I surprised! It's making me faster at the net, and I can still get the spin and power I was used to with my regular paddles. The power was especially (and pleasantly) surprising (full disclosure - I did add 3g of weight on each side and the top, as I saw recommended in a video). I can't speak to how well it alleviates wrist/elbow/shoulder pain, because I didn't have any of those to begin with. I'm just happy that it's helping make me a more confident and competent player. And oh yes, I did get the usual first reactions (what the heck is that, is it legal); but then I started getting questions like is it easy to learn, how much does it cost, where can I get one. So - when will the Gen 4 foam version with some kind of extra-durable grit be coming? Even if that never happens, I'll still want to buy another one of these when this one wears out - so please don't go out of business! :) Hmm, maybe I should buy another one right now just in case...

I’m a 4.2 DUPR and I have been using ergo paddles for almost 2 years now. I felt connected to the Xcaliber ergo paddle almost instantly, and I felt like I finally had a weapon in my hands (other ergo paddles just didn’t cut it). I can go head-to-head with all of these power paddles, and it has been a blast so far. Can’t wait to see how far I can go using this paddle!

Face wears too quickly

Have only used for 5 times, so not sure about it's performance yet. I can say that I'm reaching shots more. My arm is still hurting, maybe gripping too hard. One of the reasons that I bought the paddle was less damage on my arm, so we'll see about that. Problem is since it's not popular in Japan, my coach doesn't know how to teach me how to use the paddle. Everyone around me is surprised by Xcaliber's form and doubtfull of it's performance. I'll keep on using it and hope it'll turn out well for me.

Get a new review site this is annoying as hell to use on mobile I've used the paddle the grip in the middle starts to come loose after a week and random shipping on the sides of the paddle I'm assuming from a ball hitting it too hard but I just don't know what material you guys use that there's chipping and if it does trip like this why don't you use a black composite material so it doesn't show up as easily when you scrape the bottom of the paddle when you're going for low balls seeing the white is annoying aesthetically and I've had to use acrylic paint to fill in the tiny chips but besides that bought it as a meme but it's actually synergized really well with my serve and other aspects of my game so 8 out of ten
